Art For The Terrified - (and not so terrified) Suitable for: Beginners and improvers 10 lessons on Tuesday's April 22nd - July 1st (There will be no session half term 27th May) Class to build confidence in complete beginners. You will learn about the 7 Elements of art and become familiar with a variety of techniques and media that include painting, drawing, printing and mixed media in structured and supportive sessions. Try out different styles, experiment and have fun! Make something new each week! Objectives: Students will gain knowledge of the 7 Elements (building blocks) of art, putting them into practice through a different creative technique and media each week. Materials and equipment required: All materials provided. About your tutor: Jane Carlisle Bellerby is a silk and mixed media artist and experienced teacher whose teaching goals are to introduce people to a broad range of art techniques and media, improve creative confidence whilst also encouraging people to view companionable art-making as a tool for nurturing personal wellbeing.
