Draw into colour with Amanda Beck on Tuesday Mornings 6 lessons starting on Tuesday 14th January - 18th February 10:30am - 12:30pm £120.00 A beginner’s guide to watercolour pencils Learn about techniques used with watercolour pencils to create your own vibrant sketches. This six-week course will guide you through some top tips and techniques to get you started with watercolour pencils. Each week we will focus on honing a particular technique and which pencil colour palette to use whilst exploring different subject matter. Watercolour pencils are so versatile and are a great way to introduce colour into your drawings as well as build up your confidence in painting. I will be sharing my advice on materials along with the best papers and sketchbooks to use. Each session will include an easy-to-follow demonstration encouraging you to experiment and enjoy the creative process of drawing and painting with watercolour pencils. These sessions are classroom based but I will also be encouraging you to sketch in-between sessions and bring your own ideas and interests to the class to explore. Watercolour pencils are so portable and also fun to work with if you’d like to start sketching on location. All materials will be provided and the tutor will be happy to advise on materials during the course if students wish to purchase their own.

Cancellations, refunds and exchanges: If you cancel your course or class 14 clear days or more before the start date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your course or class less than 14 clear days before the start date, refunds will be given at the discretion of Craven Arts. No refunds or partial refunds will be given once the course has started. Craven Arts reserves the right to make alterations to the published details course as necessary and/or cancel the course. In the event that the course has to be cancelled or rescheduled, we will attempt to contact you with as much notice as possible and you will receive a full refund. Craven Arts cannot take responsibility for any of your travel and other costs and/or expenses associated with your attendance or planned attendance of the course (including in the event of changes or cancellation by the Craven Arts). You cannot resell or transfer your place at the course or class without the Craven Arts consent.
