Draw into colour with Amanda Beck on Wednesday Afternoons 5 lessons starting on Wednesday 30th April - 28th May 2-4pm £120.00 Draw into colour! A beginner’s guide to watercolour pencils Learn about techniques used with watercolour pencils to create your own vibrant sketches. This five-week course will guide you through some top tips and techniques to get you started with watercolour pencils. Each week we will focus on honing a particular technique and which pencil colour palette to use whilst exploring different subject matter. Watercolour pencils are so versatile and are a great way to introduce colour into your drawings as well as build up your confidence in painting. I will be sharing my advice on materials along with the best papers and sketchbooks to use. Each session will include an easy-to-follow demonstration encouraging you to experiment and enjoy the creative process of drawing and painting with watercolour pencils. These sessions are classroom based but I will also be encouraging you to sketch in-between sessions and bring your own ideas and interests to the class to explore. Watercolour pencils are so portable and also fun to work with if you’d like to start sketching on location. Students on the last course were amazed at the results they achieved.
