Discover the magic of wet felting with tutor Clare Lamkin. In this workshop you will create 2 felted lampshades. Please note: This workshop will run from 10am till 12, with a 1 hour break for lunch to allow time for the panels to dry before being made into lampshades. The workshop will continue after lunch from 1pm to 2pm. Join us for a welcoming experience at our Wet Felt Making Workshops, designed specifically for all levels. Led by Clare, these sessions offer a relaxed environment where you can discover new techniques and processes and apply them to nurture your creativity. These workshops are ideal for anyone eager to learn a new creative skill or deepen their understanding of felt making. Whether you are just starting out or seeking to refine your techniques, you will find a place in this friendly and encouraging setting. In each session students will produce a wet felted two or three dimensional piece. A material list will be emailed to you prior to the session ( bring your own materials or pay £3 on the day). Clare Lamkin - My main artistic focus is wet felt making and free motion machine embroidery. I love combining these techniques to produce vibrant, textured two and three dimensional pieces that reflect pattern, colours and texture. Cancellations, refunds and exchanges: If you cancel your course or class 14 clear days or more before the start date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your course or class less than 14 clear days before the start date, refunds will be given at the discretion of Craven Arts. No refunds or partial refunds will be given once the course has started. Craven Arts reserves the right to make alterations to the published details course as necessary and/or cancel the course. In the event that the course has to be cancelled or rescheduled, we will attempt to contact you with as much notice as possible and you will receive a full refund. Craven Arts cannot take responsibility for any of your travel and other costs and/or expenses associated with your attendance or planned attendance of the course (including in the event of changes or cancellation by the Craven Arts). You cannot resell or transfer your place at the course or class without the Craven Arts consent.
