Operating since 2017, Craven Arts is an artist led organisation formed by a group of highly

committed and experienced artists who live and work in the Craven area.

Our aim is to create a centre for contemporary arts in Skipton, called the Craven Arts House, we are well on the way to launching this building in the Autumn of 2022.

We have received significant funding from Craven District Council, Heritage Action Zone and Architectural Heritage Fund. We are working closely with our partner organisation Craven District Council who are managing the refurbishment on site. More information about Craven Arts House and our funders can be found in here.

We offer and promote opportunities for the Craven community to meet and connect with artists; participate in workshops and see exhibitions by Craven's established and emerging visual artists. We hold exhibitions, events and workshops that everyone is welcome to attend.

By providing arts facilities for creation, professional development, education and training we will make Craven a better place to live both culturally and economically.

Craven Arts has three existing locations in central Skipton:

■Craven Arts Studio Shop @ 7a Otley St, Skipton, BD23 1DY

■Craven Arts Hub @ 89 Caroline Square, Skipton, BD23 1DA (the old TSB)

■Craven Arts @ Mill Bridge Gallery, 3 Mill Bridge, Skipton, BD23 1NJ
