Available spots
Service Description
Spend a creative day weaving your very own snood or scarf on a table loom. Each participant will have their own 8 shaft table loom to use for the duration of the workshop, which will have been threaded up ahead of the session, so you can enjoy a full day of weaving. There will be a variety of yarns in different colours and textures to choose from as well as the opportunity to incorporate different weave structures. Participants will learn all the skills needed through group demonstrations as well as one to one support throughout the day. This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those who might have some experience weaving using different types of looms. No prior knowledge is required. Objectives: Participants will have had the opportunity to weave on an eight shaft table loom, incorporating different weave structures as well as their choice of yarns to produce either a snood or scarf to take away with them at the end of the session, depending on the length woven during the workshop. All materials and equipment will be provided for use during the workshop. No equipment or materials need to be brought along by participants.
