Designed for beginners this course starts with the foundations of watercolour and the essential techniques to get you started. This friendly and practical course offers guided learning, creative freedom, and plenty of inspiration. Through demonstrations and practical step by step exercises this course aims to build up your confidence to start you on your watercolour journey. She brings over a decade of experience in arts education, including work with museums, festivals, and community groups. Before relocating to Yorkshire, Amanda led drawing tours and arts events for the University of Oxford’s museum service based at the Ashmolean Museum.
