Showcase handmade goods, connect with customers, celebrate creativity

The Makers Markets at Craven Arts House, held in collaboration with Skipton Town Hall, celebrate the vibrant creativity of local artists, crafters, and makers. These events showcase a diverse range of handmade goods, from jewellery and ceramics to prints and homeware, offering visitors a chance to support independent artisans from Craven and the wider area. With free entry, family-friendly activities, and a welcoming atmosphere, the markets provide a perfect opportunity to discover unique, high-quality craftsmanship while enjoying the lively cultural scene of Skipton.

Our Makers Markets will take place on the following weekends:

Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August 2025

Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December 2025

Each day we will open at 10am and close at 4pm.

Terms and Conditions

Stall fees are based on a full weekend 10 am - 4 pm on Saturday and 10 am - 4 pm on Sunday. Bookings for single days are not currently available.

Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than Monday 30th June 2025. 

 

Your Stall is only reserved once payment has been received in full. 

A table for your stall is not included in the £45 fee. If you require a table for your stall, please bring one with you or select the Table Hire option when applying for your stall.

Requests for stalls in specific positions will be considered sympathetically, but no such request should be deemed as being binding on the organisers. Stall allocations will be made taking into account the nature of your products and the general layout of the hall. One chair will be provided for each stall in the hall. Extra chairs will be available as required.

The stallholder shall effect at their own cost full public liability cover against personal injury, death and damage to or loss of property related to your products or stall for a limit of indemnity of not less than £1,000,000, and the Organiser shall be entitled to inspect such insurance policies upon request.

Access on the Saturday to set up will be from 8:00 am. You must complete your stall prior to the public opening time of 10:00am. Please stow all boxes and packaging away safely, clear of all gangways and alleyways. All vehicles should be moved out of the Craven Arts car park once offloaded. Stall holder must not break down before 4pm on the Sunday, at this point cars may be returned to the Craven Arts carpark for loading.

The booking fee is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation of any booking by you, the Stallholder, you will be liable for the full cost of the stall booked. All cancellations must be made in writing. The event organisers shall not be liable to any stallholder in the event of the Fair being disrupted due to bad weather, major accident, or any other cause beyond their control.

Every effort will be made to feature in our social media posts those who have supplied both their bio (written in the third person) along with good quality images.
