Circular Reasoning
Circular Reasoning is an exhibition by artist Zöe Louise Platt.
Her practice combines formal design principles with the unpredictability of materials, working iteratively between two and three dimensions. Using collage, print and book arts, she explores how meaning emerges through repetition, variation and grouping.
The exhibition focuses on the circle as a single graphic constant, tested under controlled variation. Across experiments and outcomes, shifts in scale, material and structure alter its spatial presence.
Developed following her departure from teaching at Leeds Arts University in 2025, the work reflects a process of making-as-research that identifies key principles underpinning her practice.
Exhibition Open:
Thursday - Sunday, 11am - 4pm
From 4th June until 28th May
