Craven Arts House Summer Holiday and Art Club: Monday 3rd August - Friday 7th August 2026
(£25 per child, per day. 9am - 3:30pm. Wrap around available 8am - 4:30pm + £7.50)
This August, step inside the pages of your favourite books at our Music & Art Holiday Club. Inspired by the National Year of Reading and the stunning Craven Arts Exhibition, we’re spending five days turning ink and paper into rhythm and masterpieces. From composing "soundtrack" soundscapes for classic tales to creating gallery-ready art inspired by literary legends, your child will explore how stories live outside of books.
The children will share the work created with families and friends at the end of the week.
Kids will develop a broad range of practical art skills, create work to fit a topic brief, have fun and improve creative confidence.
Booking Options
Our Summer Holiday Club starts Monday 3rd August until Friday 7th August, 9am - 3:30pm each day.
Book single or multiple days for £25 per child per day.
Wrap-around care options are also available from 8am until 4:30pm for an extra £7.50 per child.

Children take part in both music and art sessions. Led by professional artist educators with experience of working with children in schools and community settings. DBS checked.

Jane Carlisle Bellerby is a silk and mixed media artist and experienced teacher whose teaching goals are to introduce people to a broad range of art techniques and media, improve creative confidence whilst also encouraging people to view companionable art-making as a tool for nurturing personal wellbeing.
