Craven Arts House is delighted to announce Words and Pictures: The Art of Reading, a vibrant summer exhibition celebrating creativity, storytelling, and visual expression as part of the National Year of Reading 2026 | Go All In
Bringing together artists at different stages of their creative journeys, Words and Pictures explores reading not simply as a pastime, but as a powerful cultural and imaginative act. The exhibition showcases a diverse mix of media and styles, inviting visitors to consider how words and images intersect to shape ideas, memories, and experiences.
People's Choice Prize!
Exhibition visitors can cast their vote for their favourite artwork. One artist from both the Under 18s and Over 18s categories will each win a £200 prize, generously donated by
The Art Shop Skipton.
