TRACES is a collaborative project between Craven Arts and Skipton Civic Society, celebrating Skipton’s rich architectural heritage.

Skipton’s history is brought to life through original artworks depicting its most iconic historic landmarks. The exhibition invites visitors to explore local history embedded in the town’s architecture, and to consider the sculpture, signs, and symbols on buildings that often go unnoticed. Each work of art offers a unique perspective on Skipton’s evolving story—past, present, and future.
