Service Description
Class to build confidence in complete beginners. During this 10-week course, you will learn about the 7 Elements of art and become familiar with a variety of techniques and media that include painting, drawing, printing and mixed media in structured and supportive sessions. Try out different styles, experiment and have fun! Make something new each week! All materials included. Students will gain knowledge of the 7 Elements (building blocks) of art, putting them into practice through a different creative technique and media each week. About your Tutor: Jane Carlisle Bellerby is a silk and mixed media artist and experienced teacher whose teaching goals are to introduce people to a broad range of art techniques and media, improve creative confidence whilst also encouraging people to view companionable art-making as a tool for nurturing personal wellbeing. Jane’s sessions are designed to accommodate all types of learners in a friendly and supportive space - “Jane is really encouraging, very welcoming and lots fun!"

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations, refunds and exchanges: If you cancel your course or class 14 clear days or more before the start date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your course or class less than 14 clear days before the start date, refunds will be given at the discretion of Craven Arts. No refunds or partial refunds will be given once the course has started. Craven Arts reserves the right to make alterations to the published details course as necessary and/or cancel the course. In the event that the course has to be cancelled or rescheduled, we will attempt to contact you with as much notice as possible and you will receive a full refund. Craven Arts cannot take responsibility for any of your travel and other costs and/or expenses associated with your attendance or planned attendance of the course (including in the event of changes or cancellation by the Craven Arts). You cannot resell or transfer your place at the course or class without the Craven Arts consent.
