Service Description
Inspired by texture and colour, you will design and wet felt flat pieces before constructing them into lampshades using a kit frame—all in an afternoon. Please note: This workshop will run from 1 - 5pm, with a 30 minute break to allow time for the panels to dry before being made into lampshades. This workshop is ideal for anyone eager to learn a new creative skill or deepen their understanding of felt making. Whether you are just starting out or seeking to refine your techniques, you will find a place in this friendly and encouraging setting. £3 payable for materials on the day. Suitable for beginners. About your tutor: Clare Lamkin. My main artistic focus is wet felt making and free motion machine embroidery. I love combining these techniques to produce vibrant, textured two and three dimensional pieces that reflect pattern, colours and texture. I am a member of the International Feltmakers Association.

Cancellations, refunds and exchanges: If you cancel your course or class 14 clear days or more before the start date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your course or class less than 14 clear days before the start date, refunds will be given at the discretion of Craven Arts.
